Orbit is the third app out of Eric Rogers Technology — a personal life dashboard that pulls the different threads of everyday life into one place, built with the same private, on-device philosophy as ClockRings. It's not on the App Store yet, but it's far enough along to talk about, and the TestFlight beta is open if you want to try it early.
The idea behind Orbit is frictionless capture: jot anything into a single box — text or voice — and Orbit's on-device AI cleans it up and files it as a task, note, idea, person, or quote. A Today dashboard surfaces what actually matters, and Ask Orbit is right there to answer questions using everything you've stored, all without your data ever leaving the device.
What's built so far
- Capture & Ask Orbit — one box to jot anything, plus an on-device AI chat that answers from everything you own
- Day / Week / Month / Year dashboards — the same modules, stepped back through any horizon
- Your day — a Briefing, a Timeline pulled from Calendar/Health/Photos, Focus sessions, Routines with streaks, Weather, and cross-everything Search
- Calendar, Reminders & inbox — your real Apple Calendar and Reminders (not a duplicate), an Email glance, and automatic Deliveries detection
- Life admin — Projects, a Content pipeline, Work (pay-cycle/leave), Retirement forecasting, Garage (vehicles/maintenance), Travel, and a Calculator
- Money — a Stocks watchlist and your own App Sales, by day/week/month/year
- People & memories — a People/CRM view, a Library with "on this day," a dedicated Journal, and Photos
- Every platform — iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Watch, plus Home/Lock Screen widgets and Siri/Shortcuts/Spotlight/CarPlay support
- Notifications, a Lock screen (Face ID/Touch ID/Optic ID/passcode), and the same accent-color picker as ClockRings
Everything syncs privately through your own iCloud — no account, no login, no third-party servers.
